If you are trying to understand what StudyDeck does, what Premium includes, or why something is not working, start here.

What is StudyDeck?

StudyDeck is an AI-powered flashcard app that turns notes, PDFs, and photos into cards, then helps you study with spaced repetition and multiple quiz modes.

How do I create flashcards?

Paste text, import a PDF, or scan a page with the camera. StudyDeck can then generate flashcards from the imported material.

What study modes are included?

StudyDeck includes flashcards, multiple choice, true/false, written response, FSRS review, and practice tests. Audio Quiz is also available on iPhone for hands-free review.

What is spaced repetition?

StudyDeck uses FSRS v5 to show flashcards at the best time for long-term retention. Hard cards come back more often. Easy cards come back less often.

What is included in free vs Premium?

The free tier includes manual flashcard creation, all study modes, and monthly limits for AI card generation, practice tests, study guides, PDF imports, and photo imports.

See localized Premium pricing on the App Store.

What are practice tests and study guides?

Practice tests give you a more exam-like way to review deck content. Study guides organize important material into a higher-level reference you can revisit before a session.

Can I import from PDFs, photos, and browser text?

Yes. StudyDeck supports text paste, PDF import, photo and camera workflows, plus browser-extension routes that send selected text into the app.

Does StudyDeck work offline?

Yes, StudyDeck is designed around on-device workflows. The public website exists for product information, support, and lightweight browser tools, not for storing your study library.

What devices are supported?

StudyDeck is available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Apple Intelligence requirements apply to some AI features.

Why are AI features unavailable?

Some AI features require supported Apple hardware with Apple Intelligence enabled. On unsupported devices, you can still create cards manually and use the study modes that do not depend on AI generation.

How does sync and sharing work?

StudyDeck supports sharing and Apple-device workflows inside the app. The website itself does not host your decks or act as a cloud dashboard for your study library.

How do I contact support?
